Hidayah Institute for Qur'anic Sciences

ABOUT HIDAYAH

Rooted in the Qur'an. Built for the next generation.

Hidayah Institute was founded with a simple belief: Islamic education should shape more than what a student knows. It should shape who they become.

We want our students to love the Qur'an, understand their faith, grow in character, and carry what they learn into their everyday lives.

Our mission

To provide Qur'anic education and Islamic learning that nurtures knowledge, faith, character, and community for children, youth, and adults.

Our vision

A generation that loves the Qur'an, understands their faith, lives with strong character, and feels deeply connected to their Muslim community.

Ustad Abdulahi Siyad, founder of Hidayah Institute

Our Founder

Ustad Abdulahi Siyad

For more than eight years, Ustad Abdulahi Siyad has dedicated himself to teaching the Qur'an, specializing in tajweed and recitation. His Islamic education includes years of study at Islamic Machads and institutes in multiple countries, where he built a strong foundation in Qur'anic and Islamic sciences.

His teaching is rooted in both excellence and connection. He builds strong relationships with his students, helping them grow in confidence, strengthen their recitation, and develop a genuine love for the Qur'an. His students are known for their tajweed, recitation, and beautiful voices, with many achieving success in Qur'an competitions.

He founded Hidayah Institute to create a place where students can pursue excellence in the Qur'an while building a connection to it that lasts far beyond the classroom.

Our Vision For Hidayah

More than a place to learn Qur’an

We want Hidayah to be a place our students look forward to coming to. A place where they can learn the Qur’an, grow in their faith, build friendships, discover their strengths, and feel at home in their Muslim community.

As Hidayah grows, our vision is to expand beyond Qur’anic education to include Islamic studies, youth programs, enrichment activities, and opportunities that prepare our students for life while keeping their faith at the center.

Hidayah in Action

Excellence you can see

Qur'an competitions are an important part of our community, and preparing students for them is one of Hidayah's strengths. Our students have earned recognition in local and national competitions through strong tajweed, confident recitation, and dedicated preparation.

Excellence

We take the teaching of the Qur'an seriously, with strong tajweed, careful instruction, and high standards for our students.

Adab

Knowledge should shape character. We teach our students to honor the Qur'an, respect their teachers, and show good character toward others.
